Operational Management Traineeship

Would you like to develop yourself further in a fast growing international organization with interesting technology? Do you like to work in a pleasant company that often organizes social drinks and other fun activities? Then read our vacancy for Operational Management Trainee!

Operations

Our operations division is responsible for the operation with our cleaning installations and ensuring that the operation can continue 24/7 within Belgium and Dutch ports. This division is responsible for operating, maintaining, and updating the cleaning installation and inspection drones to provide the best service to our clients. The operations department is divided between cleaning services and inspection services. The employees within the operations department consist out of an energetic team of technically trained people who play a crucial role within Fleet Cleaner.

The traineeship

Fleet Cleaner is a fast growing innovative technical organization that has developed an inspection and cleaning robot for all underwater maintenance of seagoing vessels. At the moment we are already active in five different countries with our technology, but would like to grow this further. To realize this further growth, we are looking for interested starters who would like to join our operations department and help us to grow further.

As a trainee you will start with two months working on board of one of our cleaning vessels, after all this is the way you get to know our technology the best. After these two months, you will spend one month working as a Fleet Inspector where you will use our underwater drone to carry out inspections within the largest ports in Europe. Finally, you will spend one month working in our control room as a remote operator, learning to control our technology remotely. Now that you have become fully acquainted with the technology of Fleet Cleaner in these first four months, you will guide a project to improve our operations department (e.g. setting up a new foreign location for our inspection service or improving/establishing a logistics process) in the following four months.

After your traineeship there are several possibilities. You can become responsible for managing a team, be responsible for projects (e.g. setting up new locations or improving the training for new employees) or one of the many other possibilities within Fleet Cleaner.
